Tips on Computer (Windows, System, CD Backup, PowerPoint, Word)

In Relation To Windows
- To open Task Manager directly with one hand, Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc.
- To delete one word at a time: Press Ctrl + Backspace.
- Open your Calculator and select View, then worksheets. Calculate your mortgage payment , fuel economy, vehicle lease payment, and more.
- To minimize all running programs on window , press Windows +M.
- To select and focus application in the task bar, hold down windows key, then press T.
- To Maximize the active window, Press Windows +Up Arrow.
- To Minimize the active window, Press windows +Down Arrow.
- While working on folder, press Alt +P to see the preview of concerned file you want to
- SHIFT + right click: Displays a shortcut menu containing alternative commands
- SHIFT + double click: Runs the alternate default command (the second item on the menu)
- For easier access to certain key locations on your computer, head to Start > Setting> Personalization > Themes. Then click the desktop icons setting and then select the icon you want.
- SHIFT+DELETE: Deletes an item immediately without placing it in the Recycle Bin
- Ctrl + Z: Undo the last Action
- Ctrl + Y: Redo the last Action
- Left ALT+left SHIFT+NUM LOCK: Toggles MouseKeys on and off
- Left ALT+left SHIFT+PRINT SCREEN: Toggles high contrast on and off
- Windows Logo + Break: System Property dialog Box

In Relation to Web Browsers
- To open Chrome’s built-in task manager: Press Shift + Esc. Extremely useful when Chrome freezes.
- To access your address bar directly: Press F6 or Ctrl + L.
- If we want to work on full screen on Google Chrome , use F11.
- To open a New tab on web browser press Ctrl +T.
- To Close the current tab press Ctrl +W.
- To visit the home page of the current tab you are working in, Press Alt+Home.
- To Open incognito window Press Ctrl +Shift +N.
- To bookmark the visited page press Ctrl +D.
- Alt + Left Arrow, Alt + Right Arrow Navigate to parent folder, or browse Back and Forward through folders in Explorer.
- Ctrl (+ or -) Zoom in our out of a page '-' will decrease and '+' will increase. Ctrl+0 will reset back to default.
- Ctrl + Enter Quickly complete an address. For example, type computerhope in the address bar and press Ctrl + Enter to get https://www.computerhope.com.
