My journey of communicating with you all commenced in July, 2022 when I assumed the coveted post of Vice President at this august institution which I term as my second family. During my tenure of past 12 months as Vice President, society has witnessed remarkable achievements and made significant strides as a society. Our collective dedication and unwavering commitment to the profession of chartered accountancy have been truly commendable. It is a privilege to serve alongside such accomplished professionals and be a part of this esteemed community.
Together, we have achieved numerous milestones that have strengthened the pillars of our society. We have successfully organized impactful events, seminars, and conferences, providing valuable knowledge-sharing and networking opportunities. Our publications and research have garnered new heights and accolades, contributing to the advancement of the accounting profession.
At the time when I am communicating with you all for the last time as the Vice President, I can definitely endorse that I have cherished every moment during the year. I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to each and every member of the Bombay Chartered Accountants Society for your active participation, support, and contributions. Your enthusiasm and commitment have been the driving force behind our accomplishments. I am proud to have had the opportunity to work with such dedicated individuals who continually strive for excellence.
With the grace of Almighty and the blessings of seniors at BCAS who have been torch bearers in earlier years, I have been given the responsibility to be at the helm of affairs at BCAS as President from 6th July, 2023, the 75th Founding Day of BCAS. I am humbled to be stepping into this role, following in the footsteps of my esteemed predecessors who have led this society with dedication and distinction. Their tireless efforts have shaped the Bombay Chartered Accountants Society into the dynamic and influential organization it is today. As we enter our 75th year, there are many more activities and initiatives to look forward to for the members of our society and professionals at large.
I am handing over the charge as Vice President to a worthy successor CA. Anand Bathiya, who is a young professional with great command over corporate law and is an innovative thinker.
